Your Chance to Play the 2024 U.S. Open Venue
Callaway Golf has been named the title sponsor of the Pinehurst Pro Am, scheduled for August 23 – 27, 2023, at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The Callaway Pro Am at Pinehurst is part of the 2023/2024 Troon Events Tournament schedule, a collection of golf events that offer amateur and professional golfers premier competition with exceptional hospitality at iconic venues, including Pinehurst, Whistling Straits, TPC Sawgrass, and Pebble Beach Resorts.
The Callaway Pro Am at Pinehurst is limited to 26 teams (104 players) and will feature three rounds of world-class golf at No. 2, No. 4, and No. 6 courses, and four nights luxury accommodations at The Carolina Hotel.
The first Anchor Site of the U.S. Open, the championship will return to Pinehurst in 2024, 2029, 2035, 2041 and 2047. Pinehurst No. 2, the course over which the championship will be contested, will host the U.S. Open for the fourth time in 25 years in 2024.
“Pinehurst has elevated itself to one of the great and historic places for golf in this country,” said Thomas J. O’Toole Jr., USGA president. “Some say it’s our St. Andrews — it’s certainly something special, and that’s why we’re going back there for the 2024 U.S. Open.”
The Pro Am experience is inclusive of breakfast daily, a welcome reception at The Cradle Short Course, an awards reception and dinner, along with an evening hospitality event at Thistle Dhu. All Pro Am participants will receive a Callaway welcome gift valued at $750. In addition, professional golfers will compete for a share of the $10,000 purse with the top six professionals paid, while amateurs will play for tournament prizes valued at more than $1,000.

The 2023/2024 Troon Events Tournament schedule includes a total of four events, each with amateur competitions in both gross and net divisions with top teams earning prizes. Professional golfers competing in the Whistling Straits, Pinehurst, and Pebble Beach Resorts events will play for shares of the $10,000 purses. As an added bonus, golfers who participate in three of the four events receive a complimentary National Troon Foursome Card, which provides preferred rates at participating Troon-managed and brand-affiliated courses.
