Welcome To The Family

ESCAPE YOUR EVERYDAY

If you’re looking for precious gems in California Gold Country, check out Teleli Golf Club in Sonora. Indigo Sports, a Troon company, is now overseeing golf operations, agronomy, and sales and marketing for the daily fee golf facility.

Located on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in the historic gold rush town of Sonora, Teleli Golf Club opened for play in 1990. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, the 6,559-yard course plays to a par of 72 and is blessed with natural rolling fairways, an abundance of old growth trees, and large greens.

Teleli has been owned by the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians since 2019 and serves as an amenity to both the Black Oak Casino Resort and the community. The name Teleli is from the Me-Wuk language and translates to “Black Oak.”

“We at TEDA are excited for what the future holds; this newly formed relationship is going to help benefit the community as well as the golf course. There are many good times to come!” said Darryl Tinkle, president of the Tuolumne Economic Development Authority. (TEDA)

In addition to a beautiful golf course, Teleli Golf Club also has a practice range, multiple practice putting greens, a fully stocked golf shop and the West Wind Bar and Grill. With a wide range of banquet facilities, the club can host events of up to 150 guests including weddings, parties, tournaments, and more
